Hantercans
Hantercans is the Cornish word for "fifty".
Appropriate, as the house was made for its
owners fiftieth birthday.

The design is typical of many Victorian cottages around the area of Charlestown, St Austell
in Cornwall south west UK.
The solid porch protecting the doorway against coastal weather extremes, lends a charm
to the building.
The distinctive red Victorian post box and stone frontage were specifically asked for by the owner.
The whole front lifts off to reveal a kitchen and living room downstairs with a staircase up to the hallway bedroom and bathroom.
